[whispering feathers]

Close as i'll b able 2 get
2 u
is the further i should stay away
hear thoughts pump in my chest
had 2 let u know
how it was i felt inside
guess the truth is hard 2 believe
when uve been told so many lies
never no intention 2 frighten ur soul
a bird prisoned in a cage
let loose will stare in wonder
thought whatll happen if i should go

Will i fall
will i lose control
4get where my heart belongs
am i afraid 2 learn the know

Is this how it feels 2 b free
all on my own
choices with no consultation
seems 2 b harder these days
when u alone can only depend on urself
no sense in2 hide from feelings
if i hold on 2 my heart
2 strong
situations may arise
will i feel the same
if i allow them 2 grow
