Yet another family death...

::0crying:: Ladies and gentlemen, I am greatly saddened to say that this afternoon, around 3:00 PM, my dog Brandy was taken to be put down. This morning, she could not stand or move, and couldn't eat or drink. She was barely able to sit up all day, and it wasn't until we were taking her to the vet that she could at last walk again. Brandy was a dear friend to me, and as close to me as if she was my own sister. Her passing, as much as I had to accept, was painful and heart breaking to say the least. I'll recover from this loss in a day or two, and I have the good memories of her... But it will still take time to get over how she won't be here anymore, doing her normal activities like clockwork. ::0crying::

I am so very sorry to hear about your dog, Shadow. I know from personal experience that it is not easy to deal with such a loss. You have my deepest condolences.

My dog died last year in October, she had some kind of brain desease (she died at night, it was one of the worst nights I ever had). So I know how you feel :cry:

My parents called our dog breeder the next day, and call it fate or whatever, she had one puppy left (about 2 months old). I didn't know that they bought her until I came home in the evening. I opened the door and suddenly a small black hyper bolt tried to bite my shoes. The little one helped me a lot to get over my loss.

Yea, puppies are little bolts of energy. One minute they are fast asleep, the next they are knawing your toes cause they wanna play/eat.

I two have had two aunts pass away this month. I'm fine. I think I've gotten over the most of the ordeal, but I share your woes and doubts Shadow.
