I'm sorry, but I too feel the need to chime in here. I've been a loyal supporter of Alley for close to ten years as well and this is not the first time that this has happened. The ABTV show was delayed for months after we were told it would be available by a CERTAIN DATE. I realize Alley and her posse of web guys work hard on bringing us quality stuff, but just don't tell us there will be an update to the site by a certain time when it's not going to happen. I would rather just hear nothing at all and be surprised rather than expect an update to happen soon (which seems to be weeks or months) or by a CERTAIN DATE because that usually does not happen. I still love ya Alley and will continue to be a member of your site, but I guess I'm just not going to pay attention anymore to when things are supposed to get done. Still looking forward to all your site has to offer and I know you're gonna knock our socks off (someday) with some really great new content.

I know. I'm sorry guys.

What is going on....IS....my webmaster has in addition to putting the clips together he's REVAMPED the entire members area which will have the new PAY PER VIEW section in it. It's all done. I've seen all the work. The clips are done.... Currently my webmaster is fine tuning the compression of the clips...which usually takes a while because if one compression doesn't work out he has to try several other versions and see which one works best. Patience Patience Patience.....

When the clips are good to go.....my webmaster plans on updating EVERYTHING all at once! Trust me, he's been kicking some ass. I too have been busting my butt....trying to work with him on the upgrades, working on giving you more images per set and etc.

The next thing I want to do is update our store, add items, add a few more games and etc. but I have to concentrate on one thing at a time. We have to do one thing at a time. I only have 1 webmaster working on my site. That's it!

This PAY PER VIEW project has been in the works for some time now.....so it's pretty important to me that we get this done and up ASAP. Once things get done and up...then we will be able to put up and add new clips without waiting around on current issues. The initial set up of anything always takes longer!!

I hope you understand.....and in the future it is best that I don't give out a certain date because if the work will not be done by me....I shouldn't guarentee that this or that will be done by a certain date.

Just remember, the ABTV show was a BIG production gig.

This new PAY PER VIEW thing....is a pretty detailed thing. These things require a lot more time and work than what you might think. It's not as easy as putting a clip together and throwing it up. After the initial set up.....then yes. Also.....because we are trying to do everything as professional as possible, that also takes a bit longer. (What I mean is....quality stuff)

Plus this is my first time EVER doing this....so....what I'm trying to say is:

Sounds Like my DREAM job and if I had to re-encode, re-compress, re-edit, and re-watch your videos over and over again . . . I would probably take my time too. You know, to make sure the job is done right! Oh yeah, and to rest my tired hands from all the stress release . . . I mean hard work. ::whistling::
I am currently working toward my Associate of Science in Digital Media and if you need any help, I AM THE ONE! :roll: What kind of fan would I be if I didn't offer, right?
By the way, the new Devour set is nice . . . has a natural feel to it. It made my mouth water and my stomach growl. At least I think that was my stomach. Thanks for the reply . . . patiently waiting. ::bouncy::

Well. I got the stuff from Alley's webmaster.

I'm working as fast as I can to get the payment processor now hooked up to the video clips download. So its almost ready to go.
