| I WAS SO FRIGGEN PISSED OFF WHEN I GOT TO THE END OF THAT GAME. I KIDD YOU NOT, I PUNCHED A WALL!! They had better make a next one, or I'm gonna have to hunt somebody down. As for combat arms, I will try and get things back up tonight, but right now we're having a bit of a get-together. If you guys are still on in a hour or so, I'll be back. |

On KH series: I've only played the first one all the way through, been wanting to buy KH2, but... well, you know, lack of money and time usually kills any chance of starting up a new game. I mostly play consoles as well (I only have a PS2, making me an old fogey by today's standards, i guess)
The only PC games I ever play are the old Neverwinter Nights (again, haven't had the time or money to pick up the 2nd one, though I already know I need to update my video card before I attempt it), plus for a while I was addicted to GunBound and Maple Story... :roll: yeah yeah, I know, start your teasing now...
I don't play either games anymore, again because I rarely have time. I spend all my free-time in this place as is! |

| well i feel for ya and i know what you mean... a lot of free time is wasted on doning important things and with the gas prices going up theres no way to keep a lot of money for long... |

I play online games more than console games nowadays. Mostly because I can socialise more at the same time. Don't worry, Johnny, the newest console I have is a PS2 too. I also have old ones.. a PS1, a Sega MegaDrive and a Sega Master System, and an original Gameboy. I don't have any of the new fancy stuff yet.
I tend to get addicted to a games site, then eventually move on and find another site that I get addicted to. At the moment, I'm addicted to mainly two games - Urban Rivals, and Pirates of the Caribbean Online. I noticed Combat Arms when I was downloading Mabinogi (which unfortunately I've discovered I can't play for some reason - my laptop reboots every time I try to play); I might try Combat Arms some time.
P.S. I have the feeling this should really be in the General forum, rather than the PBB forum.. |

And now, a list of all of JP's gaming consoles for you puny mortals to drool over:
Nintendo Entertainment System (that's right, the original 8-bit NES, and it still works... mostly)
Sega Genesis (also works... usually)
Gameboy (2 in original gray, plus 2 Gameboy Colors)
Nintendo N64 (bought it cheap, still manage to find games for it on eBay and such)
Gameboy Advanced (the oldschool NES style one)
Sony Playstation (that's PS1, baby!)
Sega Dreamcast (sadly doesn't work as well as it used to)
Sony Playstation 2
At this rate, the next console I'll be buying will probably be a DS, because there's a ton of games for it and it's a helluva lot cheaper than any home consoles at the moment. Plus, i'm a bit of a *cough* Pokemon addict *cough* |

| Looks like, though I don't have the longest list of consoles, I do have the oldest so far. Master System was Sega's first, Mega Drive their second. Not sure, but I think even Saturn was before Genesis. Actually, I don't have a Master System.. I have a Master System II, heh. It was quite cool, actually. Had a game that you could play without inserting any cartridges, Alex Kidd. Funfun. |

I only played because it was a relatively simple premise for a game that just got more complex the further you got into it, which I liked. To this day, though, I've never actually finished a Pokemon game... I ended up getting too distracted on trying to level up nearly every Pokemon I had to equal levels before running off to the next gym battle, meaning I was putting in hundreds of hours of gametime trying to level my weaker Pokemon through random encounters... I'd usually only get about two-thirds of the way through. Really not the smartest strategy, I know, but I'm a completion-ist... I even have to make sure I explore every corner of a given area before I can move on. I tend to get like that with most RPGs, really... |

I always tried to keep my pokemon more or less equal levels, too. I did, however, completely finish my Red version - meaning beating the Elite four AND catching all 150, with the help of my sister, who had Blue (we only bought one version each to start with). I can't remember if I ever finished Yellow, Gold or Silver.
Oh, and I only find pokemon sexy when they've been drawn that way. :P |
