|
|
For some reason I haven't been able to play the Imperfect Puzzle games here. Whenever I try, my browser freezes and has to be shut down. This happens in both Internet Explorer and Firefox. It's been like that since I joined, I think. I've never been able to play them, and I have no problems with any of the other games. I've tried clearing my cache, and I have the latest versions of flash and shockwave installed, but my browser keeps crashing.
There's also a weird clacking sound that keeps going while the browser is frozen. :? |

| Uhm, it happening on both browsers makes me think it's a ShockWave problem. Try upgrading it instead ^^ |

I'm not good at these things.
I've just tried again in Firefox. I followed the link on the game page to shockwave and re-installed it. Then I cleared my cache in Firefox, and then I tried the puzzle again. It still keeps freezing  |

| you have to uninstall shockwave first. then go and reinstall it, using the full installer. depending on your browser, you need to get different plugins. |

| I have a problem similar to this almost every time I try to play any of the games. Something about needing the latest version of Shockwave or the site being unable to support it. All I have to do is refresh the page and it works just fine. Maybe you should give that a try next time, see what happens. |

| They're working for me still. I just did the Valentine's Day puzzle. It has to be Shockwave or something. |

| I think Labrn may be right. I had to download Shockwave to get them working but once I did they worked just fine. |

Hmmm. can you give me a list of the games that you had to use the refresh method. And you're right if it pops up there is an error, you can refresh and they'll work.
But if you can tell me which game that does requires that refresh trick. I'd like to know so I can look into fixing it. |
