Sun and palm trees. How nice is that? Although there has been a touch of spring in the air in the south of England today. No oranges though.
I last saw oranges growing on trees in the Forum in Rome. So here's to the memory of the Pope. A man who did many fine things and also gave the Romans a great taste for Vodka! Vodka with sorbet, vodka with pasta and my favourite: the Vodka Imperial cocktail at the Grand Hotel: a whole bottle of vodka frozen into a block of ice embedded with wild flowers and then decanted into a jug of tropical fruit. !t cost £75 in 1990!

Hi Martina, Hi Guys,
I'm back home now. Sorry no updates for the past few days. My 3G card broke and in trying to fix it I managed to wipe all the settings. I'll post some more pics tomorrow when I've sorted them out. And I'll see you all at Martina's ACH show tonight

Ah, but when its not raining in Vancouver its one of the best cities on the planet..

No I didn't go inside. The queues were too long and as always the day was too short It's supposed to eventually house an exhibition of the history of the universe. I think they will need to update it each time Stephen Hawking has a brainwave |
