character idea

Hi,

I was on the computer earlier, and like a bolt out of the blue, I was struck by a sudden inspiration for a character. You know how DC comics has The Red Tornado, right? Well, how about The Red WHOREnado? She starts out as a simple prostitute working the streets, but then something happens which gives her the power to control the movement of air, (like DC's Red Tornado), particularly in regards to the creation of tornado-style vortexs. Now, she operates as a criminal-for-hire as..... The Red Whorenado!

If you think that having her control the movement of air might be too similar to Spreading Eagle's weather powers, maybe Red Whorenado could harness the winds by spinning like a top, (at super speed of course), instead of just mentally controlling the wind?

And, *naturally*, when she is spinning at a few million RPM, her costume is destroyed by the heat friction and G-forces!

Woo-Hooooooo! I never thought of that at the time, Phaderas. Great idea (smiles broadly)! Maybe the first time we see her, she's on her very first job as a supercriminal, and she doesn't *know* that her costume'll come apart, so she ends up embarrassed by it, like when Pollinatrix' costume was unexpectedly destroyed... Then the heroine could make fun of Red Whorenado a little, and the mockery would enrage her, enabling her to defeat her opponant? Well, it's just an idea, anyway. What do you all think of it?

Thanks for the character suggestions! I've been hard at work on new comic pages, and hopefully this new book is more to the liking of everyone. We got a few new casino dealers up, and now we're working on getting a stream of new pages for the comic fans. We really want to build a site that you guys enjoy, so the feedback last week was great. I'm going to try and avoid more "coming soon" messages, and instead promote work that's ready to post. I'm quite a few pages ahead of the last page posted, so I can promise more in the next few days with confidence.

There are a lot of characters we want to showcase in the comics, and we're trying to get something for everyone, so stay tuned and keep letting us know what you like!
