Hmm... I dunno. She looks kinda - ordinary. OTOH, the outdoor shot of her is breathtaking (Bryce?). If you're open to suggestion, I have a few (humble!) ones:

If you can, replace the horizontal ribbing with vertical. More slimming. She looks thin if I think about it, but my first-glance impression is always that she's a bit heavy. I'd also remove the side hip pads. Meanwhile, if she's going to look that big, I believe it should also be reflected up top. In other words - (grits teeth) - make the breasts bigger. As uncomfortable as I was with Suzy Homewrecker's developments, I actually liked that they fit her general build. Besides, her bio says she's 38D, and right now she looks anything but.

Too. Much. Green. Some trim might be nice. Probably not yellow; the simile is already overt. Would a brown work? Particularly the boots.

Something doesn't seem right about the face to me. It seems a bit heavy, too. Partly the chin; or rather, underneath it. Looks like there's a fair bit of flesh under the jaw; if it were brought up just a touch, maybe meeting the neck a bit higher, it might look better. Then again, it might look like Frankenstein.

In general, her face looks really wholesome, especially with that hairstyle. It's beautiful and wispy, but the problem is that she looks like a real, beautiful girl; not a HotBabe(tm). Or maybe I've just been looking at bellefree.com too much lately.... What do y'all think? It wouldn't be the first time that an appearance I didn't care for ended up being wildly popular anyway.

Man, that's a terrific outdoor pinup. The lighting and look are perfect. I could -totally- see a series of trading cards for DC or Marvel done like this, seriously.

I wonder who the third Triple-X woman will be. Knowing Jeff, it'll be a redhead.

Man-- you're complaining about wholesome and looking real? gak!

Would be awesome to have 3D rendering programs pump out 'real' looking chicks... no need for shooting the actual models all the time (once you get a body scan done)..... they wouldn't be complaining about the poses you get them to do.... (you want me to do what with that?) heh.

Don't change a thing Jeff! I am so sick of all the silicone women out there. Susie Homewrecker is a good example of a girl who turns me OFF. Rascal looks like a real, healthy girl. Made the way god intended! Leave her be. Oh, and can you talk to her about working in the casino?

Yeah, I'm complaining about how real the women look. Take a look at either of those pinups and tell me they don't look like really good oil renditions of some actual girl.

Besides, the look doesn't fit the bio. I look at Rascal and think grocer, or cowgirl, or nurse, or intern, but not porn star. What would she look like on the cover of a video? I ask you! (Let's see if Jeff comes up with something - meh heh heh)

I actually wouldn't mind her look in the long run, I think. I'm like Benjamin; Suzy didn't work for me (the face as well as the chest), and I have a soft spot for the all-natural girl who just looks gorgeous without trying. It'll just take a bit of convincing for me to believe she's a former street cat who turned to the Biz.

Thanks for the comments. Not all of the girls will be appealing to everyone, but hopefully there's enough variety to go around. I like how Rascal turned out, and she'll definately work as a dealer in the casino in the near future. There's a reward jigsaw coming up where she shows off her powers, and you guys should have fun with that. If she appears in the comics depends on how her reception on the site goes, but maybe there could be a Triple-X spin-off series. Looks like Thunderstorm will take the Babe of the Month this time, so there will be some spotlight time for her.

The last poll showed that some of the old faves from BOM should make return appearances, but I'm thinking at least 12 months should pass, and then they all reset to give a fair chance to see who's still hot and who's not. A few of the old faves are about to show up in comic again, so keep watching!

PostPosted: Mon Apr 28, 2003 9:47 pm    Post subject: You know what makes her bra size big? Reply with quote

Back when I was a lad, I had never even heard of cup sizes. Playboy (which was about the only regular exposure to babes I had back in my teens) only wrote the chest-waist-hips notation. I may be completely off here but I think that cup sizes didn't even become *important* until the widespread use of boob jobs. My wife has a nice pair (she really does) but they are spread on a somewhat large ribcage (thereby decreasing cleavage). The Rascal pics looks like she has a similar build to my missus. She could have a 36 or 37 inch bust with no problem. I don't know about cup size. She has a pretty big rib cage. Actually, that could be taken as a sign of a healthy, NATURAL girl. Smile As for being consistent with the porn star thing, the Rogue character in the comics went through so many changes and updates it is hard to nail her down. She was all sweetness with some writers and a "rogue" with others. Are you sure you want to even make Thunderbolt and Rascal porn stars? Right now you have a good thing going with the superheroine thing. Just a thought. If you change tack Jeff, we won't mind! Smile

If you want to make the XXX girls something OTHER than porn stars, you could say their BIZ status was reported by the National Enquirer (grin). It is just a bad rumor, right? Kind of like the Britney boob job controversy. Or maybe the girls were photographed after a wild night on the town and the pics make things look bad indeed! Hey you could even have a villain who stalks and slanders heroines. How about "Captain Paparrazi ?" Sheesh! Did I really just say that?

On this site - they're ALL porn stars!

The team bio hasn't really been defined for the new characters yet, so the characters are still in the formative stages. Anything's possible!

Hollow and I are not talking at cross-purposes after all. I think Rascal is great and so does he. The difference is that he says she is inconsistent with her BIO. I never even thought about that. I didn't even realize it was already posted until this morning. After reading her BIO, I have come to a conclusion similar to Hollow's. My answer though, is the opposite of his. I still maintain that she should not be changed! If something should be changed, it would be her BIO. Jeff, I realize these are JUST cartoons. But part of the enjoyment of comics is verisimilitude. There must be a "seeming truth" for the characters to grow on us. Saying the XXX Women are porn stars is hazardous to that. Part of our enjoyment is seeing HEROINES (not Jenna Jamesons) topless in the line of duty. In special instances we see them captured and violated (calm down there, Ben!). That all goes out the window when you designate them as PORN STARS. Porn stars just work for cash. Although all of us have rented porn movies, few of us would actually want our wives or daughters to BE porn actresses! There is a negative connotation associated with the profession despite all the money and "glamour" the girls project. They are glorified and well-paid street hustlers. Hollow is right, Rascal does not look like she is in the BIZ. She DOES look like the girl next door, just as the Rogue character did. Jeff, did a first-rate job of making us a Rogue-like character that is gorgeous. I only ask that he carefully consider the implications of the PORN STAR nomenclature. Thank you.

That is the question.... Could make an interesting Poll for the members to decide the faith of the Triple X team....

While a big ribcage could certainly explain a 38" bust, I don't think it would explain the D cup.

I try to walk a fine line in a site like this. I'm a customer, and so my likes count for something; however, I am only one of many customers, and furthermore, this is Jeff's art, and Ron's production, and in my view, an artist with a vision should never be expected to cater to every customer's whim. You either buy what's being sold, or not.

So for me, it's great that they're open to feedback. But if I ever criticize, it's always as a single voice in a crowd. So for what it's worth, personally, I'm not into porn. Well, maybe it's fun sometimes. But when it's completely acceptable, some of the magic is gone, y'know? Namely, the gal has to be tentative. Yeah, that's the word. Not so opposed that it's forced, but definitely not at the drop of a hat.

I can understand Flasher; she's playful. With She-Bulk, it's pent-up lust. With Voodoo, it's a means to an end. Kicker seems ambivalent to the whole thing, which is good. Nordic Fox is just European, so she doesn't know it's taboo. But Wonder Broad - ahhh.

Oh, and by the way, that latest pinup is hot. Love that face.

What I have always liked is the variety, there are all different body types, slim and trim, to busty and beautiful. Rascal is another facet which adds to the whole site. I know some people have a certain body type they prefer and its an all or nothing thing. I like the variety myself and if you dedicate all the characters to one cup size or build it gets boring after a while. You're doing the right thing by mixing it up a little because you can't please everyone all of the time but you are pleasing everyone at least some of the time. Now after that speech about tolerance I have to vote "no" on the porn start theme. These are the "JUSTICE BABES" not the "Porn Stars that look kinda like comic book characters".

In other words, Keep doin what yer doin!

Man, Rascal has really generated some comments.

By popular demand, the bios have been changed (I just sent them in, so they should appear shortly) to be something a little more appropriate for the characters. They seemed like an afterthought at first, but it seems they deserved a little more attention to detail.

I was in the car for 10 hours today, driving to Miami and back, so I had lots of time to think. The new concept is a nucleus that could be developed into a whole storyline if you guys want us to run with it. I did a lot of "writing" - my cell phone has a voice recorder - so I made lots of notes I can hopefully make sense of when I recover from the road hypnotism.

The feedback on what you want to see is invaluable, and the beauty of interactive response to what we do here is that things can adapt to what you want to see. Those that speak out usually get what they want!

Me likey! Thank you kind sir. It is very graceous of you to take our feedback on board when making your decisions. The new bios hint at corporate bounty hunting. Hmmm. Girls on run from the law. Do the companies hire super villains to capture their stray employees? I can't wait to see. If you ever need jpeg images of some of the XMen for artistic purposes (costumes, hair styles, etc...) I would be happy to forward what I have. Some XMen (like Psylocke and Jean Grey) have gone through lots of stages and Jeff may need an image of a particular costume done by a specific artist. If I can help, I will gladly. Thanks again!

Never heard of these "X-Folks" you refer to. Our stuff here is all completely original, and any similarity to persons living, dead, or just plain made up is purely coincidental.

In fact, I have not read any comic books of any kind, never.

"Gracious" is definitely the word for this. Like I said: artist's prerogative; don't ever change - unless you want to. And with that said, I kinda like the new TS and Rascal. Well, intrigued more than anything. And now I'm really looking forward to the third of the trio, as well as (ha-CHA!) TS's inevitable BotM feature...

As for (product placement)-brand comic figures - I'm sure Jeff has no problem finding them. Hell, he's probably drawn them numerous times.

Speaking of helping out. I'd bet more than anything, spare props would help. Various textures, costume bits, sundry furniture, etc. I gotta think all those 3D doodads are a pain in the butt to produce. It's hard enough to write stories and put together the images; wouldn't it be great if you could just say, "I need a dresser about yay big, mahogany, with gold fixtures and a mirror", and you got it without having to shop for hours around Renderosity or wherever for it.

But that's just my idle speculation. Ya gotta be careful with fan contributions. Someone once said, helping someone by contributing to their production is like telling them how to make love.

Actually, I've gathered a pretty big collection of stuff, and the recent conversations are definately steering things more toward the "heroines in peril" theme, so I've got plenty of implements of peril.

It looks like Thunderstorm takes BOM this month, and has already posed for a few shots, so keep an eye out for her soon. Thanks for all the great comments, and keep telling us what you want to see happen to the girls!
