I was just outside smoking a cigarette when i see Charlie running towards me and a dog looking thing chasing him. I got up and started running towards this dog looking thing, and he got scared turned around and ran off.

I have just discovered this thing was a coyote, he looked just like this

I have now taken the bell off of Charlies neck, so he wont be so easily noticed. I have to becareful now about letting him out. I was worried about the skunks, now i have to worry about coyotes Evil or Very Mad

OMG Shocked I'm glad Charlie is OK. Good idea to take the bells off but please keep him in at night.

*HUG* for Charlie.

The problem is that i think the coyotes live in my backyard, as the land of this house is on half an acre, and there is tons of bush that go all the way up at the back of my house. And right at the top there is a fence thats corners of the houses land, and then an apt complex

Sounds like a story there, eh?

Coyotes live in all the canyons around LA. They usually stay away from people, but if it turns very hot or very dry, they'll creep toward civilization looking for food and water. (Guess which category Charlie fits....)

You'll have to name the critter, of course...how about Wily?

Martina, You do have some stories to tell, thx !

Would be a nice movie featuring:

Coyotes, Spiders, Skunks, The LA Heatwave, Landlords, Neighbours, Plumbers ...and of course Charlie Smile
Charlie sleeps well on hooded carts too

..But above all featuring the lovely Martina Razz

Sounds like your backyard area should be renamed the "Wild Kingdom" Laughing

And not just because of the different animal species that have visited either since it sounds like the two-legged variety are much more likely to be the party animals rather than the four-legged kind. Wink
