Well male or female, I believe that it would a good idea to deversify the striptease theater. While it's normal that most people here are men, the furry community is actually quite varied so a male in the striptease theater from time to time wouldn't be that much of a problem in my opinion.

Your not the only one. Wink

*chuckles* I don't know whether to be pleased or alarmed with this kind of attention. I think I'll settle on pleased. Personally, I think Jillian's performance will be far more entertaining and I've been looking forward to it for a while. Wink

As for seeing males on the stage, I will just say it's not really my choice. I really don't mind either way, anyway. I'm not that picky. Razz

Both of you will have a great performance, and I'll be happily waiting in the front row for both of you. *pulls out his "Yay Jillian & Kommy" penants*

Also, it might end up your choice Kommy. What if Vanessa likes the pitch of couples and you'll have to take one of us on stage with you?

*chuckles, blushing* Heh. Thank you, I think. Though I note my lead so far isn't quite the knockout Jillian's was. Maybe because I voted for Stella. Razz

I've been wondering, though, how exactly Jillian or I is more appealing than our two competitors? Is it the species? Clothing or personality? I've been kinda curious what you guys like.

I wonder, did anyone here not vote for the good Doktor? (Aside from the good Doktor herself, of course)

I voted for Kommy. Wink

There's something nice about knowing the person on stage (Not to detract from my affection for Meg, it's clear my Captain knows HER now Wink ).

I voted for Kommy!!! (Snuggs!!!!)

Hmmm well I'm a sucker for foxes even though I'm more of an otter personality. But not terribly fair Wink I know... the other reason is, I think it is more of a 3 Dimensionality thing.... there is something breathing a bit more life into the Doctor than the other two... not saying they aren't lively and fun but more that you're touchable.... oo that came out strange Wink But hopefully makes sense.... since you are one that responds back you are a bit more real, which gives you an edge Wink

And I'm curious as heck how the incredible artist behind it all is going to work your profession into the strip tease Wink

Well, I have to agree with the others about the fact that we get to actually interact with you two did help with the votes. Also the others are participating members of BonBon, meaning eventually you can meet any of them up on the stage, if not get a room with either of the characters. As Doc Horton demonstated with Stella. You two, on the other hand, are a "just visiting" kind of deal. A one time offer, since neither of you work at the Delight Castle. Besides, we couldn't just walk up to either of you on the streets of BonBon and ask you to take the stage. We'd most likely get a hand across the face. Laughing

Another lingering reason, which I find true with many members of my family, is just for the sheer enjoyment of seeing your reaction. The range of emotions the surprise of seeing yourself up on that stage brings. I've rented movies I've seen millions of times and showed them to family members and friends for the first time, where I was watching them enjoy the movie as I did more than actually watching the movie. Does that make sense to anyone?

I wonder if Vanessa would let either of you help describe and come up with the poses for each piece of the strip theatre.

Yes, it does, at least to me.

I wondered the same thing when the idea first came around.

*Chuckles and snugs back against Jillian* You know, I've been pondering that myself. I cannot speak for Jillian, of course, but I've been considering what I might see for myself should I win the vote.

Jillian's obvious enthusiasm and her love of machinery makes me think of her doing a grand demonstration of her latest invention(s) than a regular teasing dance. I can scarcely imagine what sorts of toys she could create for us.

For myself, I've known more than a few guys who had a thing for women in positions of authority, such as doctor or teacher. One person has even told me that I am the reason he now finds lab coats to be incredibly sexy. As for what I'd be doing... Test tubes have always been kind of suggestive. As well as anatomical models and props, of course. And oddly, the vibrator was in fact invented in the 19th century as a medical device. It was used to treat female 'hysteria' and women regularly went to their doctor for this treatment. They quite enjoyed it, I believe. Wink

And that's not even touching some of the more fanciful uses of science. It's long been a source for very... creative pleasures amongst us furries. Occasionally to my regret. Embarassed

Well, for one you'd see yourself up on the stage. For two, you'd see a great deal of us all watching and waiting in amusement and delight.

Hmm..as true as that may be. I think she's more on the mischevious and zany side then of the erotic "show off" type.

Of coarse. Because we're the type who find it very arousing for the woman to be in charge. That we're not sure what she'll do, but we're pretty sure we'll enjoy it. Its a taste of suspense and thrill.

As for the lab coat...I guess you've got a little experiment you'd like to try. Wink I can recall a little something I once saw that grew my interest in women in lab coats...

Whatever you end up doing. I'm sure we'll all thoroughly enjoy it.

As for your little history lesson there, I dared not, but I must go into it. I found it quite humorous. I just wonder why kind of "hysteria" it was that all those women fell victum too...and how many sessions it would take with their doctor to cure them of it. lol, its sounds like the plot of some vintage porno. XD

Of coarse, if all else fails, you can always test the audience on the male reaction to skin vs cloth ratios in regards to the female body. Wink

Finally, its not your fault how other furries react...unless your the one that started such a revolution...in which case it is your fault. XP

I believe the Good Doktor was using the word in it's historical sense as opposed to it's more modern meaning.

Some Encyclopedia wrote:
The term originates with the Greek medical term, hysterikos. This referred to a medical condition, thought to be particular to women, caused by disturbances of the uterus, hystera in Greek. The term hysteria was coined by Hippocrates, who thought that the cause of hysteria was due to the uterus wandering around the body in search of children.

The same general definition, or under the name female hysteria, came into widespread use in the middle and late 19th century to describe what is today generally considered to be sexual dissatisfaction. Typical "treatment" was massage of the patient's genitalia by the physician and later vibrators or water sprays to cause orgasm. By the early 1900s, the practice and usage of the term had fallen from use until it was again popularized when the writings of Sigmund Freud became known and influential in Britain and the USA in the 1920s. The Freudian psychoanalytic school of psychology uses its own, somewhat controversial, ways to treat hysteria.

The knowledge of hysterical processes was advanced by the work of Jean-Martin Charcot, a French neurologist. However, many now consider hysteria to be a legacy diagnosis (i.e., a catch-all junk diagnosis), particularly due to its long list of possible manifestations: one Victorian physician cataloged 75 pages of possible symptoms of hysteria and called the list incomplete.

Quite so, Mr. Burke! Isn't history fun? I've often wondered just how common the practice was. And just how well those steam or pneumatic powered models worked.
