Hey Jesse!
I know you're originally from Canada, but I understand you've lived here in the States for a while. You must be following the Presidential race... do you have any opinions on the candidates, Bush and/or Kerry? I'm asking because through your writings, you come across as a smart girl (woman, goddess.)
Also guys, either American or not, I'd love to hear your opinions. And what do you think about Michael Moore and his latest documentary, Fahrenheit 9/11? Do you think it could influence the decision for the Presidency?
I know this a bit off topic, but what the hell!... I also have to say, Jesse, you are the most beautiful woman I've laid eyes on! Thank you for blesing us with your radiance!

I am not sure on who should win? I can't make up my mind. As for the movie 9/11, it was pretty crazy! I makes you look at things in a different light or at least take them into consideration! I think there is a lot of things that go on behind closed doors..... if things get out of hand I can go back to Canada, hehe!!!

The movie 911 has been the big topic of some deep discussion on canpus as of late. I am wanting to check it out. If you go back to Canada PLEASE come pick me up on the way! I'm torn as who to vote for, more and more it seems like were choosing the lesser of two evils. The more I ponder things the more upset I get. My life is stressful enough already.

It would be spectacular to have you in Vancouver, Jesse. You still get to be on the lovely west coast, but earthquakes are hardly a concern. Even better, I could be your official PR co-ordinator!

I thought F. 9/11 was an enlightening movie, it showed Bush's involvement with companies doing business in Iraq, showed what he has to gain personally from our campaign there... kinda scary! I know Michael Moore is going to sku the facts to his favor to tell his story, but most of the things he brought to light were never refuted. He is furthering his wealth and that of his close business associates at a heavy price!

On another note, Jesse, the last pics you posted were some of the best I've ever seen... of anyone! You are hot!!!!

I hate to be a downer, but most of the information in the movie were half-truths. For example, the movie starts off saying that Al Gore would've won the election of 2000 if the recounts had continued throughout the state. Well, first of all, the recounts were only in heavily liberal counties, and secondly, this was simply a bold-face lie. CBS, NBC, and ABC actually saw the ballots and did their own recounts. Every single one of the news organizations (which were constantly accused of being biased against then-Governor Bush) admitted that a state-wide recount would've yeilded a Bush victory. I'm not necessarily a Republican (I'm a registered an Independent); however, my point is that you must not take anything Michael Moore (or any of the right-wing nutcases questioning John Kerry's military service for that matter) at face value. Do your own research and don't be blinded by party affiliation! Remember that both parties are corrupt, and John Kerry has some questionable background on the Iraq war as well (see http://www.kerryoniraq.com ). Almost every election now-a-days comes down to the lesser of two evils. Its enough to make a person depressed.... if it weren't for this website that is. Wink

I notice you make many references to News channels such as CNN, and NBC when referring to the movie 9/11, yet these two mediums stem from exactly the same source.

If the Western media, whether it be through Guerilla movies or News channels had found a feasible solution to Terrorism we would all be living in a far safer world.

Movies come and go and the news is only a television show, I haven't seen the movie 9/11, i saw the events unfold on september the 11th though, that was real enough!!

Terrorism has no obvious answer or solution because it grows through hatred and propaganda, Look at National Socialism or the events in Northern Ireland as an obvious examples

I really wish modern society would realise that you can’t fight fire with fire!! Smile !!!!

Sure, you can fight fire with fire. Terrorists kill 3,000 of our people. We go after them all over the world as a result. That's how you fight a war. If you're trying to compare Moore's movie to terrorist videos brutally murdering Americans, I think you're being unfair. After all, Michael Moore lives in fantasy land, and as I suggested earlier, he follows blind idealogy and emotion- not logic. I think the harm he causes may be more accidental than intended. News outlets are all slanted. It is true that the mainstream media is slanted to the left while foxnews and others are slanted to the right. That's a free media. I don't really understand what your thesis is here regarding the media. Are you suggesting that the government should regulate the news channels to be more fair? I thought the right to a free media was in the constitution because if the government controled the media, the government controls public opinion to an extent. I guess what I'm trying to say is this: I don't agree with what Michael Moore has to say, but I'll defend to the death his right to say it!

Nathan

P.S. Jesse, I'm terribly sorry for turning your forums into a huge, boring debate. I promise, I'll shut-up now.

Oh don’t get me wrong Nathan, i am not condoning Terrorism in any way as yes, like Michael Moore it is primarily based around following a blind ideology. (One of those 3000 of ‘your‘ people killed was a close friend!)

The media has a duty to cover such topics as terrorism and no it should not regulate what is or isn’t shown, all i am saying is that sometimes society (Michael Moore included) should read more into factual subject matter and then use intelligence over gung ho aggression to solve its problems, that's how you end a war Nathan!!
